Programming in oTree: a crash course

Caterina Giannetti, a faculty of the University of Pisa and member of the L'EMbeDS community, is organizing a training event on programming for behavioral research and experiments -- which will be open to all interested students and researchers.
The free 2-day course will be held in English on September 11 and 12, 2023, in the L'EMbeDS laboratory, and will introduce participants to oTree, an open-source and online software for implementing interactive experiments in the laboratory, online, and in the field. oTree uses Python, a popular, open-source programming language.
If you are interested in enrolling in the course, write an e-mail by August 15th to esperimenti.pisa@gmail.com, specifying “OTREE COURSE REGISTRATION” in the subject line.
No previous programming skills are required, but a basic knowledge of Python is a plus. For those without such knowledge, this tutorial may be useful.

Caterina Giannetti and her team are planning to offer an additional 4-hours course on web-scraping on September 13. If you would like to attend this mini-course as well, express your interest in the same e-mail.
